Position Overview:
Sub Source is seeking a strategic and hands-on Operations Manager to oversee all aspects of day-to-day operations, drive continuous improvement, and lead cross-functional teams in a high-mix, high-precision manufacturing environment. This individual will ensure that safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals are met or exceeded while fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all operational functions, including production, quality, maintenance, scheduling, and logistics
• Develop and implement strategies to improve process efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with NADCAP, ISO 9001:2015, and customer-specific quality standards
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Quality teams to align operations with customer needs and project timelines
• Manage budgets, resource planning, and capital expenditures for operational growth
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, 5S, Kaizen, etc.)
• Monitor KPIs and operational metrics to drive performance and accountability
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and department leaders
• Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance are top priorities

• 8+ years of progressive experience in operations or plant management in a manufacturing or job shop environment
• Strong background in metal finishing and coating highly preferred
• Experience working in NADCAP and ISO 9001:2015 certified environments
• Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational      performance
• Deep knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and safety standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and data-driven decision-making abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• Preferred bi-lingual – Spanish and English
