Park Place of St. John, a Providence Life Services community, is seeking a Community Manager, Full Time for our Senior Living community in St. John, IN. Our mission is to enhance the lives of those we serve in the name of Jesus Christ, and decade by decade our ministry has grown serving more people in more locations.
Park Place of St. John is a Senior Living Campus, with Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Long Term Care. The Community Manager is responsible to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operations of the Independent living community. This individual must possess a sincere passion for working with seniors, as well as have demonstrated success in a leadership role within the Senior Living industry, including exceeding financial and operational goals.
The Community Manager will:
- Create and maintain a living and working environment consistent with the values and mission of Providence Life Services.
- Experience in creating and implementing services to enhance client satisfaction and well-being.
- Lead marketing strategies/activities while striving for full occupancy.
- Ensuring continuity and consistency in the delivery of services.
- Communicate policies, evaluates staff performance, provides feedback, and coach/discipline staff as needed.
- Effective leadership skills to include coaching and developing staff to grow and contribute to the resident experience.
- Represent the facility at and participate in top-level meetings.
- Report to the Executive Director and be able to function as the leader of the campus in his absence.

- Bachelor degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration or a health related degree is required.
- Preferred RCA or HFA licensure, or plan to obtain license.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a management role.
- Must have the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
- Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.
