primary responsibilities
- Develop and maintain product assets such as data sheets, web pages, and presentation decks and work with external and internal resources to produce product videos
- Work with the Marketing team on new product launches, including creating brand assets, training materials, and promotional strategies
- Working with the Manager, Marketing & Communications and internal sales teams to write engaging content to improve buyer journey and conversions
- Turn technical specs and product details into compelling narratives.
- Work with a graphic designer to design brochures, web banners, and other graphic materials for targeted audiences
- Develop engaging social media content
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to track and measure the effectiveness of campaigns, providing recommendations for continuous improvement

- Strong knowledge of content marketing, specifically in a technical industry or at a start-up.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling abilities tailored to various audiences and platforms.
- Proficiency in web content management systems (WordPress and HubSpot) and analytics tools.
- Creativity and experience in developing infographics and other visual content using design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Writing, or a related field; a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in marketing communications, with demonstrated success in content strategy and production.
- Proven experience with and ability to develop and deepen content channels, including LinkedIn, blogs, marketing assets, and e-newsletters.
- Hands-on experience creating for various content formats, such as videos, graphic design, webinars, infographics, decks, sales assets, etc.
- Experience with marketing analytics and the ability to understand and report on campaign effectiveness would be an asset.
