 Job Summary: This role is Point of Contact (POC) for key customer programs with responsibilities to provide order updates, facilitate Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) generation and be the Tech Ord representative on customer calls. This role will also review Scope of Work documents and coordinate the identification and tracking of internal activities to support customer needs in preparation for production readiness.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

1. Assists in planning, scheduling, and tracking engineering milestones on a per Purchase Order (PO) basis at the priority direction of the Director and General Manager (GM).

 2. Ensures deadlines and milestones are met by coordinating internal team efforts and collaborating with Master Scheduler/Contracts staff. 

3. Maintains project documentation and reports for daily management review and ad hoc requests. 

4. Organizes engineering documentation, technical reports for internal review and external submissions. 

5. Prepares and distributes meeting agendas, minutes, and progress updates to internal teams. 

6. Acts as a bridge between Engineers, Management, Scheduling and Contracts staff. 

7. Participates in customer calls as the Tech Ord representative to facilitate timely responses and actions that result. 

8. Assists in streamlining workflows and optimizing project management strategies. 

9. Supports quality control and safety measures and compliance tracking. 

10. Performs all other work-related duties as assigned. 

Requirements

 REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States (ITAR restrictions).

2. Must be at least 18 years of age to work at this facility. 

3. Must be eligible to possess explosives under the Safe Explosives Act of 2003 (as amended) as required by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for all employees of Tech Ord.

4. Bachelor’s degree in project management, Engineering, or a related field (experience in Engineering Coordination, Project Management or a similar role may be considered in lieu of degree).

5. Proficiency in engineering software, Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP project management June 2025 tools. 

6. Knowledge of engineering principles and industry standards is preferred. 

7. Experience in Engineering, Project Management, or Manufacturing is preferred. 

8. Ability to communicate and document effectively in English. 

9. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. 

10. Ability to provide positive customer service to both internal and external parties. 

11. Ability to multi-task in support of end-result/goal. 

12. Excellent organizational skills and attention-to-detail capability. 

13. Ability to set and establish priorities.

6. Lifting of 10 pounds is required. Must be able to move materials by lifting, pushing or pulling up to 50 pounds and the ability to lift and/or move materials greater than 50 pounds with assistance. 

7. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus when viewing a computer monitor. 

8. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and explosives. 

9. Ear protection is required as identified throughout the facility. 

10. Where required employees must wear a minimum of 50 percent cotton clothing including undergarments to mitigate electrostatic discharge (ESD). Employees must also wear company issued safety footwear.
