Flow Therapy is seeking a dedicated  and compassionate Medical Technician to join our team. As a Medical  Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering patient care  through the administration of EECP Therapy.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
  • Ensure  patients are comfortably prepared for treatment sessions, including  explaining procedures, addressing any concerns or questions, and  assisting with any necessary preparations to ensure a smooth and  efficient treatment experience.
  • Skillfully administer EECP Therapy sessions according to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Assist Clinic Director with patient examinations.
  • Accurately enter patient information into EHR System or other medical databases.
  • Other job duties, as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficient  in managing administrative tasks within a medical office setting,  including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, etc..
  • Skilled  in providing hands-on patient care, including preparing patients for  treatment, taking vital signs, assisting with medical procedures, and  providing patient education.
  • Excellent verbal and written  communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with  patients, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong  organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to  multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability  to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating  with medical staff, administrative personnel, and external partners to  ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Demonstrated  compassion and empathy towards patients, with a commitment to providing  patient-centered care and creating a supportive and welcoming  environment.
  • Ability to adapt and respond effectively to  changing priorities and unexpected situations, while maintaining  professionalism and composure.
  • Eager to expand knowledge and  skills through ongoing learning and professional development  opportunities, with a growth mindset and a willingness to take on new  challenges.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification, required.
  • Current BLS Certification, required.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
