Description

Do you have a passion for helping people? We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Member Services Representative to provide top-notch service and support at our West Sacramento branch. You’ll play a vital role in assisting our members with their day-to-day financial needs and making their experience with us exceptional.


What You’ll Do:

  • Be the welcoming face of PostCity FCU — help members with teller transactions, account questions, and product/service inquiries.
  • Build relationships by educating members about our products and proactively recommending solutions to help them meet their goals.
  • Accurately handle cash transactions and balancing your drawer.
  • Help new and existing members open, close, and maintain accounts.
  • Support members with online and mobile banking access, troubleshoot logins, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Assist with account file updates, mail transactions, and address updates.
  • Respond to member inquiries across all channels — in-person, phone, and online.
  • Reach out to members with courtesy calls for service updates or to offer new products.
  • Partner with other departments to identify trends that could improve member service.
  • Stay up to date on all applicable state and federal regulations, especially BSA/OFAC requirements, and complete required training annually.
  • Maintain a clean, professional workspace that reflects our commitment to excellence.
  • Follow all safety, security, and policy protocols to protect our members and our credit union.
  • Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year member services experience in a Credit Union or financial institution is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including writing business correspondence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work 32+ hours a week, Monday through Friday, and the occasional weekend day.
  • Goal driven and able to meet or exceed established cross-sell goals.
  • PC and calculator proficient, including experience with Microsoft products, Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team to accomplish goals and objectives.
  • Ability to provide attention to detail with accurate and consistent results.
  • Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.
  • Must be able to operate office/branch equipment including telephone, copier, scanner, cash recycler, and ATM.
  • Working knowledge of operational regulations, laws, and principles
  • Salary commensurate with experience.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
