Housekeeper
Description

 

The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the School  to support the health and well-being of children, staff, and families. This role is essential to maintaining a hygienic environment that aligns with licensing regulations, BrightStars quality standards, and best practices in early childhood education settings.

Requirements

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
     
  • Proven experience in custodial or housekeeping work, preferably in a childcare, healthcare, or school setting.
     
  • Understanding of safe cleaning practices, including sanitation and infection control procedures.
     
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions, cleaning schedules, and safety labels.
     
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and be on feet for extended periods.
     
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and a positive attitude in a childcare environment.

  •  Background check and fingerprint clearance as required by state childcare licensing.
