What You’ll Do
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you’ll provide hands-on support in one of our group homes. You’ll help individuals with daily routines, personal care, social activities, and more, helping them live with dignity, independence, and joy.
What A Typical Day Might Include
· Assisting with personal care (bathing, dressing, meals, as needed)
· Encouraging independence and community involvement
· Supporting health needs and appointments
· Helping with household tasks
· Building strong, trusting relationships
· Keeping clear, accurate documentation
· Create a safe, positive, encouraging atmosphere
What We’re Looking For
· High school diploma or equivalent (experience in similar settings a plus!)
· Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal vehicle
· Strong communication, patience, and a team-player attitude
· Comfort with physical activity (lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, walking, etc.)
· Willingness to learn Safety-Care and behavior support techniques
