Infant and Toddler Teacher Purpose

To cooperate in providing a warm and nurturing, high quality early childhood environment in which each child can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.


Regular work schedules are Monday through Friday, 7:45-5:45, 8:00-5:00, 8:15-5:15 or 11:00-5:15.


Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a safe and stimulating environment for young children. 


Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.

- Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment for infants and toddlers.

- Observe and assess children's development and progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.

- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.

- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience.

- Maintain a clean and organized classroom, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.

- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.


Skills and Qualifications:

- CDA, associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field preferred.

- Experience working with infants and toddlers in a childcare or educational setting.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to create a nurturing and supportive learning environment.

- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.

- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.

Requirements
  • CDA, bachelor's or associate degree in early childhood education or related field is preferred.

Salary Description
$16.72-$20.10/hour
