Maintain PWASH Inc.’s buildings and properties at a level that ensures the safety and well-being of the people we serve, our guests, and our employees; that protects the value and structural integrity of the facilities; and that has a pleasing appearance to the people we serve, our employees, and the general public.
Major Responsibilities / Activities
Identify and prioritize maintenance and repair needs for all PWASH facilities.
Perform periodic inspections of buildings and grounds and report findings and recommendations.
Maintain records showing the maintenance and repair activities performed.
Establish and maintain a preventative maintenance program for the facilities and the heating/cooling systems.
Perform and delegate maintenance and repair activities on buildings and equipment that 1) are within your expertise, 2) have been approved, and 3) can be done more effectively than subcontracting the work.
Identify the scope of work to be performed by subcontractors, prepare estimates, and review their quotes and proposals.
Represent PWASH's interests by monitoring work performed by subcontractors.

Travel
Travel is not a regular part of this position; however, it may be necessary at times for training, meetings, residents’ needs, and other activities.
Physical and Visual Acuity Requirements
The physical requirement of this position is defined as Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
The visual acuity requirements needed to perform this position include having visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of
the work assigned (i.e., custodial, food services, general labor, etc.) or to make general
observations of facilities or structures (i.e., security guard, inspection, etc.).
Work Environment

Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must pass all background checks
Expertise in a wide range of maintenance matters and facility upkeep.
Positive attitude, interacting with students and staff
Preferred Education and Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the field or a related field
