Description

Commercial pilot for a private jet charter company. Specifically, the Commercial Pilot will perform the following duties:


? Pre-flight Planning: Conduct thorough flight planning, including route

selection, fuel calculation, and alternate airport planning.

? Weather Analysis: Monitor and analyze weather conditions to ensure

safe flight operations and make necessary adjustments to flight plans.

? NOTAM Review: Review Notices to Airmen (NOTAMs) to stay

informed about potential flight hazards and operational changes.

? Aircraft Inspection: Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections to

ensure the aircraft is airworthy and all systems are operational.

? Fuel Management: Oversee the fueling process, ensuring the correct

amount of fuel is onboard and managing fuel consumption during the

flight.

? Flight Deck Management: Maintain a well-organized and efficient

flight deck environment, ensuring all equipment and systems are

functioning correctly.

? Passenger Safety: Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers by

conducting safety briefings and addressing any concerns during the

flight.

? In-flight Navigation: Utilize navigation tools and systems to guide the

aircraft along the planned route, making real-time adjustments as

necessary.

? Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with air

traffic control, ground crew, and passengers throughout the flight.

? Emergency Procedures: Be prepared to handle emergency situations

by conducting regular drills and staying current with emergency

protocols.

? Restocking Supplies: Manage the restocking of aircraft supplies,

including catering, beverages, and emergency equipment.

? Crew Coordination: Lead and coordinate with the flight crew to ensure

smooth and efficient flight operations.

? Check Airman Duties: Conduct training and proficiency checks for

new and current pilots to ensure they meet company and regulatory

standards.

? Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of flight operations,

including logs, maintenance reports, and training documentation.

? Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all aviation

regulations and company policies, keeping up to date with changes in

aviation laws and procedures.

Travel Details: Must be willing to travel within the United States.

Requirements

Requirements: 


The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics. 


Candidate must have the following License/Certifications: 

Pilot License, CL30 and GIV Type Rating; CFI Certification; CFII Certification; MEI Certification; FAA 1st Class Medical Certification; FCC Radio License. Log Book with a minimum of 1,000 hours of flight time.
