Tuscan Gardens of Venetia Bay is seeking a versatile and skilled Sous Chef to join our culinary team. This role is essential in providing high-quality dining experiences for our residents in the Senior Care industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.


Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and food preparation.

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.

- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and nutritious meal options for residents.

- Manage inventory and assist in ordering supplies as needed.

- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.


Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the culinary field.

- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food safety practices.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Passion for creating delicious and healthy meals for seniors.

- Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.
