About Pine Tree Camp
At Pine Tree Camp, children and adults with developmental and physical disabilities experience freedom, independence and life-changing experiences through barrier-free access to the outdoors.
Founded in 1945 as a summer camp for children with physical disabilities, Pine Tree Camp has evolved to offer unique programming for adults and children with disabilities and their families. Opportunities include overnight and day programs with a focus on building self-esteem, and self-confidence. The barrier-free setting and supportive staff provide the opportunity for campers to build lasting friendships while participating in recreational activities accommodated to their individual needs like swimming, fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, archery, boating, and more!
Employment Dates: Dates vary by position from mid-June to mid- August
Salary: All summer salaries are stipend based on experience (average summer stipend for most positions is $4,500-$5,500, plus room and board). Pine Tree Camp pays bi-weekly. Positions such as our dining hall assistants, facilities assistants, support staff specialists, and day camp specialists are hourly positions and start at minimum wage with opportunities for certifications.

• Enthusiasm for working with people with disabilities
• Previous work experience in a related field is preferred, but not required
• Willingness to learn and provide assistance with personal care and hygiene (certain positions)
