Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule, direct, supervise and train all department personnel (housekeeping, security guards, and maintenance staff).
  • Work closely with the Community Sales and Marketing Director to coordinate resident moves into and within the Community.
  • Assist residents and patients with specific needs upon request.
  • Coordinate environmental services with other related departments.
  • Maintain, supervise, and monitor the work order system.
  • Maintain inventory record of supplies.
  • Order and maintain appropriate stock of supplies for the department.
  • Oversee all building, grounds, and equipment needs, including landscaping, pool upkeep, maintenance, and pest control.
  • Manage and monitor safety systems like fire alarms and security system.
  • Engage in community activities, from disaster preparedness to ongoing training and meetings.

Position Requirements:

Minimum:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license issued by the State of South Carolina
  • 1-3 years of related or supervisory experience
  • Computer skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years of related or supervisory experience
  • Technical or Vocational Certifications
