Description
In this role you will operate as the first line of support for all customer interactions at Powder7. You will be responsible for signing up for in-store appointments, answering phones, and responding to emails. Customer Service Associates are experts in product knowledge and can provide customers with the best ski or gear recommendations given their ability, preferences, and budget. You should have excellent and thorough writing skills, and the ability to act positively and professionally with customers and coworkers alike.
Role Responsibilities
- Be able to recommend and sell gear, adjust orders, and solve customer issues via all three facets of customer service interactions:
- In Store
- Phone
- Assess and check-in customer's equipment for appropriate services for our team of techs (tunes, mounts, repairs, etc.)
- Perform binding adjustments for customers on skis with all alpine bindings in store
- Assist customers with order and service pickups, including having customers sign out all service tickets upon pickup.
- Process returns, refunds, and order cancellations.
- Edit customer orders before fulfillment, and communicate interdepartmentally to make appropriate adjustments. Including:
- Documenting customer requests/interactions in backend order notes system using clear and concise written communication.
- Physically communicating with members of other departments with customer requests/order adjustments that directly affect those departments.
- Assist the shipping team with basic tasks (box making, order picking) on busy shipping days.
- Assist in cleaning the storefront and putting up all gear on the storefront floor continuously throughout the day, and restocking inventory in the store as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of Customer Service office and workspaces. Including: taking out trash/recycling, cleaning/maintaining kitchen and coffee machines, and restocking merchandise left around workspaces.
- Stay up to date on current product offerings at Powder7 and new/incoming gear
- Move, organize, and clean/de-sticker tuned demos for the trained listers.
- Other tasks as assigned by managers and supervisors.

Requirements
- Must be available to work holidays including the week of Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Must be available to work at least 1 weekend day each weekend of the winter season
- High attention to detail and focus

- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
