Requirements

Job responsibilities include:

  • Greeting guests with a genuine, upbeat, friendly, and unscripted welcome.
  • Explaining how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods.
  • Informing guests of any specials/features.
  • Offering incremental items like beverages, sides, extras, dessert, etc. with every order taken.
  • Answering questions about food and beverages.
  • Anticipating, identifying and fulfilling guest needs and clarifying special orders.
  • Taking beverage and food orders and enter them quickly and accurately into the POS.
  • Processing credit card and cash transactions quickly and accurately.
  • Serving food and/or beverages.
  • Working with other staff members and having a servant mindset (it comes naturally to help other people).
  • Staying calm under pressure and able to think on your feet if obstacles arise.
  • Completing all opening, running and closing duties quickly and accurately.
  • Performing cleaning tasks and help set up and breakdown for each shift.
  • Learning and consistently adhering to food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Completing POS closing procedures and checkouts.

Qualifications:

  • Food Handlers / TABC Certification in required states.
  • Excellent sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to be teachable, coachable, and to take constructive feedback.
  • Gets along well with others and has positive personality.
  • Multitasking skills and time management skills/sense of urgency.
  • Dresses for success and is well groomed.
  • Has integrity, does the right thing when no one is looking.
  • Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
  • Professional and friendly, even in tough situations.
