Generally Speaking: Under direction of the Executive Producer, you will partner with marketing creatives and cross-functional partners to deliver best-in-class marketing deliverables that efficiently drive awareness and develop rabid brand and product demand. You will leverage super-human organization and communication skills to help guide teams and partners through project lifecycles. Our ideal candidate possesses tremendous communication and time-management skills, with proven success in production and/or project management. They will be responsible for providing planning solutions and project oversight for top quality content that is consistently on time, on budget, and on brand.
Essential Job Functions:
- Create scalable, effective, repeatable, and predictable production machine to increase DECKED’s marketing effectiveness
- Oversee and support day-to-day production of key DECKED creative assets across web, social, email, packaging, retail merchandizing and others.
- Take the lead on planning and managing production projects within the creative team ensuring all final assets are delivered to a consistently high standard, on budget, and on time
- Make sure the day-to-day departmental operations run smoothly through Asana
- Identify and implement content/media organization processes (Google Drive, Brand Folder and other tools)
- Organize, educate and help maintain internal documentation/content processes
- Understand each project’s goals, help to develop digital, photo, and video content aligned on goals
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and facilitate clear briefs, clarify needs, define clear deliverables and deliver/handoff assets according to set timelines
- Manage the production schedule and details for digital and print assets including: assuring briefs are accurate and complete, workback schedules are inline with expectations, creative staffing priorities, track feedback from leadership, ensure all final assets are on spec and distributed correctly.
- As needed, support the production schedule and details for brand and product shoots, inclusive of both pre-production and post production, ie. locations, model bookings, props, eq rental, crafty, deliveries, retouching and editing, and other production logistics.
- Support/coordinate ordering of merchandise material including swag, print materials, vehicle/wraps and others
- Work closely with the VP Marketing, Executive Producer, Creative Director and Brand Director, to establish a vision of annual content, and plan to implement long-term strategies for production efficiency and improvement
- Lead or assist other marketing projects as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent experience using a similar skill set
- 3+ years of managing creative projects or similar experience
- Flexible and collaborative disposition
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with strong time management skills
- Positive, can do attitude with driven desire to output high standards of work
- Impressive communication skills and an enthusiastic approach to liaising with clients
- Comfortable working through tight deadlines and managing production for multiple projects at once
- Willingness to travel, work weekends and long hours when necessary, particularly related to production shoots
- Familiar with project management methodologies and software (Asana a plus)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Design Suite, able to support image resizing/optimization for web, social, and other channels; Figma experience a bonus
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get the job done, even when at times it may be outside the scope of the job
- Able to work in a collaborative work environment
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and multitask effectively within tight timelines, and remain calm and positive in a fast-paced environment
