About You and the Role
During our 3rd Shift, Operations Supervisors are responsible for directing and managing the operation of the gym. Supervisors are focused on serving our customers, upholding our mission & values, and maintaining a safe environment while working independently. This shift will take place overnight and is suited to someone who is comfortable being alone while also able to enthusiastically engage with customers. We are looking for team members who can accomplish these goals in a dependable and trustworthy way while maintaining open channels of communication.
Note: Bouldering Project is part of the Granary Campus that includes the Evo Hotel which is staffed overnight as well as having night-time security on site.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Customer Service
In serving our visitors, members, and community we demonstrate our commitment to creating meaningful human connections.
- Make the first move, engage people, and meet them more than halfway

- Continually invest in building relationships, strengthening our community
- Actively listen to needs, define expectations, and deliver high quality experiences
- Solve customer’s problems in a fair and reasonable way
Product & Operational Knowledge
- Maintain current knowledge of procedures, policies, products, and prices
- Connect customers with options that best suit their needs
- Efficiently conduct transactions using our systems and software
- Navigate to information quickly for reference
- Stay apprised of seasonal and variable offerings such as events, sales, etc.
Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure that a valid and accurate waiver is on file for all participants
- Prevent safety issues by ensuring facility rules are communicated and followed
- Respond to incidents and accidents in a compassionate manner, in alignment with our procedures and policies
- Provide engaging and thorough gym orientations for all new customers
- Maintain facility access control
- Address safety concerns as soon as they are known, resolving the issue by either eliminating the problem or preventing people from exposure.

What You’ll Bring
- Customer service experience and the ability to lead a small team.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy shifts or unexpected challenges.
- Familiarity with climbing gyms, fitness centers, or high-traffic service environments preferred.
- A growth mindset and the desire to help others succeed.
- Flexible schedule; availability to work 3rd shift (currently 11pm-6am)
- Experience in customer service and/or instruction preferred
Environmental & Physical Demands
- Work in a loud and energetic gym environment every shift
- Stand and walk on unstable and uneven surfaces
- Be able to instruct and give directions to large groups of people

This role may require a flexible schedule, including availability during early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, or outside standard business hours depending on programming and operational needs. The position involves standing, walking, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Occasional travel may be required to support regional or company-wide events.
