 Job Description: GRL Territory Manager

Are you a natural hunter with relentless hustle and a drive to win? As a GRL Territory Manager, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to medical providers across an assigned geographic area. Your mission is to grow and manage a high-performing book of business by identifying new opportunities, onboarding and supporting clients, and building long-lasting relationships. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in the field, embraces challenge, and loves turning "no" into "yes." You'll be on the road often, meeting with current and prospective clients to drive growth and ensure satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Retention:

  • Be the ultimate sales hunter — proactively identify and target healthcare providers in relevant specialties.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline with consistent new account onboarding.
  • Hustle to develop relationships that ensure account retention and revenue growth.

Account Management:

  • Conduct regular in-person visits (minimum monthly) to assigned accounts.
  • Provide ongoing education and updates about company services and testing protocols.
  • Deliver impactful staff training on sample submission, GENuine Portal use, online requisitions, and more.

Operational Support:

  • Ensure accurate collection, shipping, supply management, and device expiration tracking.
  • Partner with our Customer Experience Team to resolve issues quickly.
  • Conduct routine in-services and on-site troubleshooting to keep accounts on track.

Laboratory Care Specialist (LCS) Support (if applicable by state):

  • Assist with hiring, training, compliance checks, and performance coaching.
  • Provide on-site collection support and account coverage as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with fellow Account Managers on specimen issues, billing, or claims.
  • Deliver Monthly Marketing Action Plans (MAPs) and Quarterly strategy updates.
  • Align with internal teams to optimize materials, logistics, and competitive positioning.

Compliance:

  • Adhere strictly to Media Labs SOPs, HIPAA, EKRA, and CRM reporting standards.

Requirements

Required:

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace and CRM systems
  • Comfortable standing for extended periods
  • Ability to work independently and professionally in both clinical and field settings

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in medical sales or laboratory services
  • Demonstrated success in building and growing client relationships
  • Strong presentation and analytical skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
