Part-Time Collegiate Faculty: Advanced Game Audio Production Techniques I
Description

 The San Francisco Conservatory of Music invites applicants to teach a course on Advanced Game Audio Production Techniques I (TAC 354) for the Fall 2025 semester. This course guides students through advanced techniques of interactive audio for video games, exploring both creative and technical aspects. The class focuses on implementation of custom audio interactions - including scripting. The ideal candidate will be passionate about game design, music systems, audio integration workflows, and will provide both lecture-based instruction and hands-on project mentorship. 

 

Objective: Responsible for TAC 354: Advanced Game Audio Production Techniques I, a required class for undergraduate students who select the game focus curricular track in the Technology and Applied Composition department. 


Start - end date: September 2, 2025 - December 15, 2025.


Work hours: Thursdays from 12-2:50pm, 3 hrs per week for 14 weeks

Requirements
  •  Candidates should have completed an advanced degree in music or a related field, or hold ABD status with degree completion guaranteed by August 1, 2025. 
  • Candidates should have demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
  • Candidates should have a strong portfolio and ongoing work in creative and/or scholarly activities. 
Salary Description
$148.51 per Hour
