This position is an expert auditor for resident files to determine move-in eligibility according to respective funding restrictions such as LIHTC, HUD, RD, and HOME. Most commonly, audits are conducted electronically via a secured web-based portal. Some Compliance Specialists travel to conduct audits on premises at the client's location. Training and continuing education are provided. Supplemental and expert training is provided regularly to all Compliance Specialists.

• Attention to detail, time management and decision making skills are important traits to be a successful compliance specialist.
• Experience in LIHTC affordable housing industry required. Experience in HUD, RD, HOME and Bond preferred.
