Case Coordinator
Description

Position Summary

The Case Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of new cases. This person reports directly to the Intake Manager and acts under his or her direction.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Collect list of new cases opened and input data into case management software following established procedures and turnaround time
  • Locate and review police reports for accurate information
  • Create client files and distribute to appropriate Attorney/Paralegal team
  • Scan and attach documents to client file in case management software
  • Edit documents, scan and fax
  • Add providers from spreadsheet into case management software
  • Interact with firm investigators and doctors’ offices
  • Answer phones in a high-volume call center
  • Regular, consistent, punctual attendance
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Coordination skill to operate office phone, headphones, printers and calculators. Use of computers and related software applications.
  • Highly proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • High command of English grammar, usage, punctuation, and spelling. Exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to exercise good judgment
  • Strong attention to detail, organized and able to multitask and prioritize workload


Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma preferred
  • High volume phone, call center and/or law firm experience is preferred
  • Must type no less than 45 WPM
  • Prior case management experience preferred

This is a Full-time in-office position Monday - Friday
