Collision Center Paint Prepper
Description

As a body shop technician, you will be responsible for preparing damaged vehicles repaired by the body shop for painting.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Quality inspects body repair work
  • Mask for overspray
  • Prep repaired areas for primer
  • Spray primer on all repaired areas
  • Block-sand primed areas
  • Prep new parts panels for blend
  • Repair scratches, chips prior to painting
  • Buff re-finished product
  • Must comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA 
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
  • Maintain a clean work area
  • Other duties assigned by management
