Driver

Job Summary:

• As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, products, and equipment between our facilities, suppliers, and customers in a timely and safe manner. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a 13-speed freightliner with a 45’ curation side trailer and Moffet for an overall lengthen of 65’.
• Transport materials, products, and equipment to and from specified locations.
• Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling and securing of cargo.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance, safety, and reporting.
• Other duties assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety.
• Load securement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and Experience:

• Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with a 13-speed transmission. (No automatic recreations)
• Experience with a Moffet plus.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a delivery driver, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting and driving
• Must be able to lift up to 75lbs at times
