About the role…
Point of Rental is seeking a Product Analyst to join our growing team. This role consists of being the final line of contact for users experiencing technical issues and in need of guidance with their software. This starts with listening carefully to our customers and providing hardware and software technical solutions. This also involves handling all level, i.e. more difficult cases, and helping Tier I and Tier 2 to resolve their issues as well. The ideal candidate is an energetic, inquisitive person with a knack for technology and enjoys solving puzzles.
Beyond the technical this position requires a person with experience in the Rental Industry as well as the experience and ability to manage projects to completion. This person needs to be comfortable going from a Support Triage meeting to a Development Scrum meeting then to a Customer Sit Down without missing a beat. This role will require teamwork and the ability to motivate and educate others.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Customer-Centric Attitude: The customer is at the forefront of everything we do – you must live and breathe customer support and promote high customer engagement through all interactions
Experience and aptitude with Information Technology, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Expert Level Knowledge)
Ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, while actively looking for solutions
Understanding of data integration problems, including validation and cleaning of data
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team
Experience in the Rental Industry (Event or Equipment) (3 years minimum)
Proactive Time Management Skills
Project Management Experience, demonstrated Ownership
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (mathematics, statistics, or another business-related field)
Microsoft (MCSA) or (MCSE) certifications
Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server including development of simple to complex queries, stored procedures, triggers and functions
Flexibility to work non-traditional shifts (early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekends)
Foreign Language speaking abilities are highly desirable, but not required
Direct Experience with Point of Rental Software Platforms
PMP or similar Certification
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt. Base Salary + Benefits, 100% 401(k) matching (up to 4%) and profit sharing. Comprehensive training lasting 2-3 months.
