Assistant General Manager (AGM)
Description

SUMMARY OF JOB: The Assistant General Manager provides administrative support to the General Manager by providing operational support and maintaining a conducive work environment. To accomplish these tasks, the AGM works closely with Owners, General Manager, Managers, Assistant Managers, Sales Associates, Home Office Personnel and customers.


REPORTS TO: General Manager (GM)

CLASSIFICATION: Corporate

WAGE: Salary Exempt 


SUPERVISES: Store Managers and their subordinates 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1.  Assist The GM in all assigned operational duties. Duties are, but not limited to:
  2.   Quarterly inspecting of locations
  3. Working in all subordinate positions when needed. 
  4. Aid in the training and development of new hires/ employees.
  5. Assist with disciplinary actions.
  6. Available by phone 24 hrs. / 7 days
  7. Maintain high performance standards
  8. Properly care for assigned equipment
  9. Hard work ethic
  10. Conflict resolution
  11. Customer service coordination with vendors, customers, staff, and guests.
  12. Unbiased critiquing of locations and subordinates 
  13. High level of confidentiality with personnel issues 
  14. Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  15. Stand in for GM during GM absence 


DAILY DUTIES:

  1. Sending daily correspondence via text, email, intraoffice mail, etc.
  2.  Monitor local fuel prices
  3. Maintain operation spreadsheets
  4. Monitor product pricing
  5. Assist in transporting goods.
  6. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager.


Requirements
  1. Requires prolonged standing.
  2. Clean driving record
  3. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift at least 50 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials.
  4. Stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders or step stools.
  5. Requires travel.


Salary Description
$40k+ per year based on experience
