Description


S&S Firestone, Inc. is seeking a reliable and customer focused Inside Sales Support Specialist to join our Lexington, KY team. In this role, you’ll assist customers with product questions, process orders, recommend solutions based on their needs, and help keep our sales operations running smoothly.

Duties performed in this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Answer all incoming calls quickly (within 3 rings)
  • Help customers with questions about products, pricing, availability, and credit terms
  • Recommend the best products based on customer needs, available inventory, and value
  • Keep in mind that helping the customer serve their customer is the top priority
  • Call regular customers daily to share product info, promotions, and take orders
  • Enter orders into the system and print them as needed
  • Give price quotes and details on credit, warranties, and delivery timelines
  • Follow up with customers after orders to solve any issues and offer support
  • Stay up to date on market trends, new products, and competitors; share insights with your manager
  • Help gather basic info on new potential customers for the outside sales team
  • Occasionally assist in the warehouse with loading, pulling, or stocking tires
  • This role is fully in-person; we are only considering local candidates or those willing to commute daily to our location.

Experience & Qualifications

Skills & Abilities

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, but not required
  • 1–2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, administrative assistance, or a related field
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and general internet navigation
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and order entry platforms preferred
  • Ability to learn new software quickly and use technology to streamline daily tasks
