4M Dental Implant Center in Newport Beach is seeking a reliable, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our premier dental implant team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including implant surgeries.
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures.
- Take high-quality dental radiographs (x-rays), intraoral photos, and digital scans (as applicable).
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and operatory areas according to OSHA and infection control standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting within the dental software system.
- Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene instructions.
- Perform lab tasks as assigned (e.g., pouring impressions, sending out cases).
- Follow all clinical protocols, safety regulations, and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant License (RDA) in the state of California, preferred but not required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of chairside dental assisting experience preferred; implant or surgical experience is a plus.
- CPR/BLS certification (must be current).
- Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Care Stack).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume practice.
- Positive, team-oriented attitude.
