The HACCP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the implementation and maintenance of
the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) system to ensure food safety and
regulatory compliance. This role involves monitoring food safety practices, training staff,
conducting inspections, and maintaining documentation to prevent contamination and ensure
product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
? Implement and enforce HACCP procedures across all production areas.
? Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and verify that they meet safety standards.
? Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
? Train and supervise staff on HACCP protocols and best practices.
? Investigate and document deviations or non-compliance issues, and coordinate corrective
actions.
? Maintain accurate records of monitoring, inspections, and corrective actions.
? Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and regulatory teams to improve food
safety processes.
? Stay updated on relevant food safety laws and regulations.
Proven experience in food safety, preferably with HACCP certification.
? Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and standards.
? Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
? Good communication and training abilities.
? Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred:
? Certification in HACCP or related food safety programs.
? Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a food production environment.
