SUMMARY  

The National Account Director, West, reporting to the Vice President of National Accounts, is responsible for executing Betco’s strategic sales plan for national accounts across multiple verticals, including grocery, retail, and Building Service Contractors (BSCs). This role focuses on business development, relationship management, and revenue growth.


Ideal candidate will live in one of the following locations: Southern CA; Northern CA; Phoenix, AZ; Denver, CO or Seattle, WA. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by developing and expanding national account relationships in target verticals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with Betco’s strategic goals.
  • Prepare necessary documents for bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs.
  • Manage and grow Gold Strategic Account relationships, including pricing, service strategies, and business reviews.
  • Conduct semi-annual business reviews with key accounts to analyze trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Facilitate the transition of strategic accounts to the Jan/San Sales Team while maintaining communication and service consistency.
  • Utilize CRM tools (Salesforce.com) to log sales activities, customer interactions, and competitive insights.
  • Leverage company tools, including Outlook, CRM, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to manage sales activities effectively.
  • Stay informed on Betco’s products, programs, target markets, and competitive landscape.
  • Manage travel and expenses within budget guidelines.
  • Develop and execute a business plan with measurable goals and objectives to ensure sales targets and profit margins are met.
  • Lead presentations and negotiations to secure new business and strengthen existing partnerships.
  • Gather and analyze industry intelligence to stay ahead of market trends.

Requirements

Qualifications  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing.
  • 7-10 years of managerial experience in sales.
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel selling strategies.
  • Expertise in consultative sales and performance management.
  • Travel 50%
