Physical Therapy Aide

Location: Ventura Orthopedics – Therapy Department

Schedule: Full-Time / Part-Time Available

Salary Range: $17.00-20.00 per hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Do

As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will support our therapists and patients by:

• Assisting in the implementation of patient treatment programs under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Preparing treatment areas and equipment for patient care.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment.
• Monitoring and assisting patients during therapeutic exercises as directed.
• Documenting patient activities and progress as instructed by the treating clinician.
• Communicating patient concerns or symptoms to therapists in a timely manner.
• Supporting clinic operations and providing occasional front desk coverage when needed.
• Delivering outstanding customer service to patients and visitors.
• Working collaboratively with therapists, patients, and staff to create a positive patient experience.

• One year of experience in a healthcare, therapy, fitness, or customer service environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent movement throughout the clinic, assisting patients and therapists, transporting equipment and supplies, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
