Job Title: WMS Sales Engineer
Job Overview
Unis is seeking a results-driven and technically skilled WMS Sales Engineer to support sales growth by delivering tailored Warehouse Management System (WMS) solutions to current and prospective clients. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and WMS technology to effectively consult, present, and support customer-facing solutions throughout the sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with prospective clients to understand their warehouse operations, supply chain challenges, and business goals.
- Deliver customized product demonstrations showcasing WMS capabilities aligned with client needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute solution-driven sales strategies.
- Provide pre-sales technical support, including documentation, system configuration, and proposal development.
- Translate complex technical features into business value propositions.
- Support the onboarding of new clients through initial system design and handoff to implementation teams.
- Act as a subject matter expert in WMS functionality and best practices.
- Gather customer feedback and relay insights to product and development teams for future enhancements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitive products, and emerging technologies in logistics and WMS.
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, pre-sales, or a technical sales role within the WMS or supply chain technology space.
- Strong understanding of warehouse processes and supply chain management principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with major WMS platforms or ERP integrations.
- Prior experience working in logistics, 3PL, or warehouse operations environments.
