Overview: Federal Construction Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with a strong technical background to oversee federal construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Architecture and a proven track record of managing federal construction projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities of the: Federal Commercial Construction Project Manager
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and budget requirements
- Responsible for all aspects of the Statement of Work
- Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors
- Manage technical aspects and problem-solving on-site
Requirements & Qualifications of the: Federal Commercial Construction Project Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Architecture
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in construction project management
- 10 years of design-build construction management experience
- Strong knowledge of construction practices, contracts, and safety standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Active Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) or Designated Design-Build Professional certification or Licensed Professional in Virgina, Maryland, D.C., or Pennsylvania
- o If no certification or Professional License exists, the PM must have an additional 10 years of construction management experience, including 10 years of design-build experience
- GOVERNMENT COMMERCIAL CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
- US Citizenship is required
