Job Title: Benefits Support Analyst

Location: Remote - Philippines Opportunity 


Job Summary

The Benefits Support Analyst will be responsible for analyzing vendor data, reporting, and invoices. This role requires excellent analytical and organizational skills, as well as strong attention to detail. The Benefits Support Analyst will work closely with our customers, internal and external partners, and customer vendors to ensure all data is accurately recorded and processed.


Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect and organize data from various sources such as databases, spreadsheets, directly from various carrier sites, and human capital management systems.
  • Analyze vendor invoices related to customer benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, disability coverage, and other benefits.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, enrollment information, and payroll deductions to ensure adequate coverage, payments, and billing.
  • Create reports and presentations that clearly communicate data findings, including trends, patterns, and insights, ultimately providing recommendations and to effectively resolve data discrepancies.
  • Present audit process and review completed audits with clients during the implementation process.
  • Provide assistance to internal team on audit results and training.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to identify data needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing quality control measures.
  • Manage and maintain databases, data warehouses, and other data repositories.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills 

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Knowledge of benefit plan design, administration, and compliance regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Proven written and oral communication. 
  • Expertise in excel, specifically formulas and pivot tables.
  • Organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.  
  • Delivering clear and effective presentations.  
  • Handling sensitive and confidential information.

 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of three (3) years in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of two (2) years in related data management and analysis; experience in Excel required.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. 
  • Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to participate in video conferences.
