Plumbing Superintendent is responsible for maintaining an open, positive, and professional line of communication with customers, vendors, general contractors, internal customers, and trade partners. The Superintendent supervises employees and maintains a safe working environment compliant with government regulatory guidelines and RMC Safety systems on multiple projects simultaneously. This position is onsite and requires out of state travel. Travel is required.
· Ensure work site is compliant with OSHA regulations and RMC Safety protocols.
· Manage and schedule installation of Plumbing material and equipment.
· Maintain consistent contact with General Contractors to be aware at all times of expected installation dates.
· Request and coordinate plumbing material and equipment needs with purchasing department.
· Coordinate delivery of material and equipment to the job site.
· Check options and equipment list to ensure material is correct.
· Keep project status up to date to ensure timely delivery.
· Lay out crews to install material on scheduled dates.
· Attend and participate in GC meetings.
· Conduct weekly inspections, and safety meetings. Provide copies of signed safety forms to General Contractor and RMC Safety team.
· Walks job constantly to follow-up with Foreman and installers.
· Schedule and direct quality control technician daily, communicate with technician constantly to maintain schedule.
· Identify problems that need to be corrected.
· Follow-up on all purchase orders and/or extra work.
· Maintain open and positive communication with Trade Partners.
· Manage Sub-contractors, ensure work done meets contract and company requirements.
· Keep up to date with all RMC Policy and Procedures, industry standards and government regulations.
· Available via telephone after hours and on weekends for emergency and/or customer related issues.

Education and Experience
· High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
· OSHA 30 Certification required.
· Ten or more years of experience required.
