II. POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a dedicated Building Maintenance Worker to support our maintenance team in ensuring the proper functioning and appearance of our facilities. The ideal candidate should possess a variety of minor skills in plumbing, electrical work, painting, and flooring.
III. JOB DUTIES
Minor Plumbing Skills:
- Ability to perform basic plumbing tasks such as fixing leaks, unclogging drains, and replacing faucets.
Minor Electrical Skills:
- Knowledge of basic electrical repairs including changing light fixtures, replacing outlets, and troubleshooting minor electrical issues.
Minor Painting Skills:
- Experience in interior and exterior painting, including surface preparation, application, and touch-ups.
Minor Flooring Skills:
- Familiarity with basic flooring repairs such as replacing tiles, patching carpets, and maintaining hardwood floors.
IV. Physical Requirements
The job duties require an employee to bend, reach, stoop, stand and/or walk for extended periods.
The job duties require an employee to climb ladders.
The job duties require an employee to lift and/or move heavy objects exerting up to 100 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for medium to heavy work.
