Street Team/Ticket Sales Agent

The Street Team/Ticket Sales Agent will be working at Pirate water taxi. Pirate Water Taxi operate 7 days a week, with longer hours on the weekends and during special events. Daily admission allows for unlimited hop on - hop off boarding all day from any of our 14 stops which are conveniently located along the Hillsborough River and Tampa’s waterways. Passengers can visit establishments at each stop including Amalie Arena, Florida Aquarium, American Victory Ship, Tampa Convention Center, Tampa Riverwalk, Sparkman Wharf, Harbor Island, Davis Island and more.

The taxis are also available for private charter opportunities for groups, festivals, weddings, celebrations, birthday parties and much more. We are open 7 days a week including days, evenings, weekends and special holiday events.

Job Description

We are hiring individuals for street team/ticket sales agent! The primary responsibility of this role is to drive individual ticket sales for Pirate Water Taxi, as well as all Manthey Hospitality brands : Yacht StartShip, Lost Pearl, Craft, and Tampa Riverwalk Rentals.

This includes engaging with potential customers in person along the route to boost sales. Work will take place at various locations across our 14 docks as needed.

This position offers an hourly wage plus unlimited commissions, paid biweekly.

Our ideal candidate has at least one year of recent experience in customer service or sales and a keen interest in the hospitality or maritime industry.

Responsibilities

• Ticket sales for all companies
• Distribution of boarding passes
• Distribution of passenger wristbands
• Replenishing brochure racks
• Coordinating operations with on-board managers, captains, marine crew and other staff

Requirements

• Must have open availability to work a variety of shifts that will include days, evenings, weekends and special holiday events.
• Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment while standing for several hours at a time.
• This position requires someone that can work both in a team and independent setting.
• Candidate will have at least 1 year of current experience in customer service or sales and an interest in the hospitality/maritime industry.
