Position Overview:

This position is responsible for providing sales support to customers and the industry while working with inside sales and the operations teams to promote and maximize sales a region of Northern California and parts of northern Nevada.


Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for existing and potential customers to support the outside sales efforts within the assigned territory
  • Introduce new dealers and other accounts that will drive corrugated metal/plastic pipe sales· Collaborate with Inside Sales Representatives (ISR’s) to develop technical solutions to customer needs, new proposals, and product applications to secure business 
  • Actively attend and deliver technical presentations at trade shows, sales meetings, engineer meetings and industry conferences while executing a promotional strategy of creating awareness, and expanding the market base for all Lane Enterprises/ Pacific Corrugated Pipe products
  • Identify customers’ needs to provide appropriate use of products, pricing, item specifications and project details to customers and clients 
  • Perform “take offs” on estimating projects to determine product quantities and specifications to prepare or assist in preparation of project proposals or quotations 
  • Find, identify, and ensure products meet and are included on government specification lists and other qualified product lists (QPL’s)
  • Manage all orders in your territory from quote to entry to shipment to installation and collection
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as added at management’s discretion

Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equal field / industry experience
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role selling corrugated metal/plastic pipe, chambers and allied products
  • 1+ years’ experience working with engineering skills and concepts
  • 1+ years’ experience in entry level project management 

Travel Requirements:

  • This position will regularly travel within designated territory using a company-assigned vehicle. 
  • Some travel outside of territory for company meetings will be necessary. 
Salary Description
$77,000/yr - $98,000/yr plus (stock + bonus)
