Position Title: Part Time Driver
Department: Shipping
Reports to: Shipping Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional part-time driver to assist with the delivery of our agricultural products, primarily truck beds. This role involves driving our truck and trailer 2-3 days per week, with the possibility of occasional overnight stays. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving similar vehicles, be customer-focused, and meet all required medical and legal driving certifications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely load, transport, and deliver beds to various locations using a company provided truck and trailer.
- Plan and execute delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate drop-offs.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure proper documentation.
- Follow all traffic and safety regulations while driving.
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain a valid medical card (required).
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience driving trucks with trailers.
- Flexibility for occasional overnight stays.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy items during loading/unloading.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a truck and trailer.
- Ability to safely climb in and out of trucks and trailers multiple times per day.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and twist while securing loads, inspecting equipment, and handling materials.
Work Environment:
- Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, including warehouses, customer sites, farms, and job sites.
