POLYWOOD® is looking for an HR Generalist who thrives in a people centered environment and enjoys work that blends HR operations, employee experience, and foundational safety support. This role is perfect for someone who loves variety, values accuracy, and wants to grow in both Human Resources and Environmental Health and Safety.
What You’ll Do:
• Support HR operations including onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS updates, and employee relations.
• Administer leave programs such as FMLA, STD, and LTD.
• Assist with workers’ compensation tracking and return to work coordination.
• Manage daily safety documentation including incident reporting, OSHA logs, and SDS updates.
• Help coordinate safety training, audits, and follow up actions.
• Participate in safety walk-throughs and culture building activities.
• Partner with leaders and the HR Safety team to support compliance and promote a safe, positive workplace.

What You Bring:
• 3 or more years of HR experience, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with OSHA basics and a willingness to expand safety knowledge.
• Experience with HRIS systems and strong comfort with technology.
• Understanding of employment laws including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and workers’ comp.
• High attention to detail and strong confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust at all levels.
• A proactive, people focused approach to both HR and safety initiatives.
