Position Summary:
The HR Rep serves as a vital member of the Human Resources team, providing generalist support across all areas of HR. This position plays an active role in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, training, administration, benefits, and project work. The ideal candidate is accurate, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of service, professionalism and confidentiality.
Core Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate job postings, background checks, and offers of employment.
- Support hiring managers during the recruitment process.
- Manage new hire paperwork and onboarding logistics.
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure timely completion of all onboarding activities.
HRIS & Records Management:
- Accurately maintain employee records and data in the HRIS.
- Ensure all employee files and records meet compliance and confidentiality standards.
- Generate reports and assist with HR metrics tracking and audits.
Benefits & Payroll Support:
- Support benefits administration including enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment.
- Serve as a resource to employees for benefits questions.
- Assist in preparing payroll data.
Employee Relations & Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Promote positive employee experiences and consistent application of company policies.
Compliance, Audits & Policy:
- Assist with HR audits, compliance reporting, and internal controls.
- Help maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Projects & HR Initiatives:
- Support HR projects and process improvements.
- Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Assist with employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building activities.
Other:
- Ensures clear documentation for all key processes and procedures related to the position.
- Maintains the highest standards for confidentiality and security.
- Participates in all required BSA training and demonstrates knowledge of BSA relative to job responsibilities.
- Responsible for security as it applies to this position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily remote/home office-based with potential occasional overnight travel.
- May require occasional extended hours during critical periods such as audits, open enrollment, or project deadlines.

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Prefer 1–3 years of HR experience with exposure to multiple HR functions.
- Working knowledge of general HR practices, employment law basics, and HR systems. Experience with Paylocity HRIS a plus.
