About Maryland Wellness
At Maryland Wellness, we foster hope, dignity, and growth by providing compassionate behavioral health and wellness services and the skills needed to strengthen lives, relationships, and communities. Our vision is a Maryland where every individual has access to behavioral health and wellness support that empowers them to heal, grow, thrive, and reach their full potential.
At our Baltimore location, we are committed to serving a community that deserves consistent, compassionate, and clinically strong care. We are looking for a provider who shares that commitment and is ready to show up for clients at every stage of their recovery journey. Our team is guided by values of Compassion, Commitment, Respect, Collaboration, Transparency, and Innovation — and we extend those same values inward, fostering a supportive workplace where staff feel valued, resourced, and able to do their best work.
Maryland Wellness is hiring a Prescriber at our Baltimore location, centrally located and easily accessible for professionals across the greater Baltimore area and beyond. This is a strong opportunity for a clinician who wants to do meaningful behavioral health work in a collaborative, client-centered environment without the bureaucracy of a large hospital system.
In this role, you'll conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and develop individualized medication management plans. You'll guide clients through their treatment options, clearly explaining the benefits, risks, and potential side effects of medications so they can make informed decisions about their care.
Collaboration is central to how we operate at Maryland Wellness. You'll work closely with each client's treatment team to ensure care is holistic and well-coordinated, and you'll connect clients to additional programs and community resources when appropriate.
This position starts at 10 to 20 hours per week, making it a great fit for clinicians looking to expand their practice or take on a flexible supplemental role alongside existing commitments.
Prescribers who are open to servicing additional Maryland Wellness office locations will be eligible for additional compensation. It's a great way to grow your impact and your income across our network of sites throughout Maryland.
All services are delivered in alignment with Maryland Wellness's clinical standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
As a thank you for joining our team, new Prescribers are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus.
