Join Our Team as a Food Service Assistant! 

(Part-Time, 25 hrs/week)

Monday–Friday | No Nights, No Weekends!

Are you energetic, friendly, and ready to bring some flavor to the workday?
We’re looking for a Food Service Assistant who loves keeping things running smoothly and serving up great experiences along with great food.


What You’ll Be Doing

Every day is a little different, but you’ll get to:

  • Help prepare our daily menu items (hello, delicious smells!)
     
  • Wash dishes and keep our kitchen sparkling clean
     
  • Run the cash register with a smile
     
  • Wipe down tables and keep our dining area welcoming
     
  • Support the team with a variety of cafeteria tasks—no two days are exactly alike!
     

You’ll follow easy-to-understand routines, schedules, and instructions, and be a key part of creating a positive, efficient mealtime environment.

 What You Bring to the Table

  • Ability to lift and move food products from boxes to storage areas
     
  • Comfortable being on your feet and moving around for most of your shift
     
  • Able to keep up the pace when things get busy

Requirements

 

Food Service Assistant

Pay Rate: $18.25–$19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Bring your energy, creativity, and love for good food to our team! We’re looking for a Food Service Assistant who enjoys variety, teamwork, and making people’s day just a little brighter—one meal at a time.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Food Prep With Flair
    Support the Food Service Manager by prepping ingredients (think chopping, peeling, assembling salads) and helping present delicious meals prepared by our chef. Share creative ideas—we love fresh inspiration for new menu items!
     
  2. Customer Service & Café Care
    Operate the cash register smoothly, handle payments and vouchers, and keep our café sparkling. Wash dishes, organize utensils, tidy up tables, and restock essentials like napkins and condiments. A clean, welcoming space is part of the experience!
     
  3. Stocking & Shopping
    Receive and store food items where they belong. Occasionally run to the grocery store to pick up supplies—yes, you get to be the hero who saves the recipe.
     
  4. Safety First
    Report any unsafe equipment or unusual situations. Follow all safety rules and use proper safety gear. We care about a safe, comfortable workplace.
     
  5. Food Orders & Baking Fun
    Prep, slice, bake, and assemble food orders headed to the manufacturing building break room. Your work fuels the entire operation—literally.
     
  6. Special Events Support
    Jump in to help with cooking, baking, serving, and clean-up for special events. These are often the most fun days!
     
  7. Reliability Matters
    Consistent, dependable attendance is essential—your team counts on you.
     

And of course…
Perform other similar or related duties as assigned. Every day brings something new.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
     
  • 1–3 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar environment
     
  • The skills, teamwork, and positive attitude needed to perform each essential function (with reasonable accommodations available as needed)
