Description
Lakeside Mobile Support Program has a need for fee-for-service Attendance Support Counselors.
Lakeside Mobile Support is seeking dedicated and compassionate Attendance Support Counselors to assist elementary, middle, and high school students facing challenges with daily school attendance. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals committed to making a positive impact on student success and well-being. The role offers flexible fee-for-service arrangements.
The Downingtown, PA area currently has an immediate need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attendance support to students between 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. and/or 4-6pm, depending on individual cases.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve student attendance and engagement
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community resources to address attendance barriers
- Maintain accurate documentation of student interactions and progress
- Adapt support approaches based on individual student needs and circumstances
The Attendance Support Counselors will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, be able to work with a team as well as independently, is reliable and has experience working with regular and special education students.
Travel reimbursement and bi-weekly supervision provided.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related mental health field
- Prior experience working with school-aged children and adolescents
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Knowledge of local school district policies and community resources is a plus
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to student success
