Description

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Team Leadership & Supervision:
    • Lead, direct, and supervise roofing service technicians in daily operations.
    • Assign and monitor tasks to ensure the completion of roofing service projects on time and within budget.
    • Train new employees and mentor team members to improve skills and efficiency.
    • Ensure that team members follow company safety procedures and quality standards.
    • Ensure services are completed in a timely, professional and proper manner. 
  2. Roofing Service Operations:
    • Oversee the repair and maintenance of residential and commercial roofing systems, including shingle, flat, and metal roofs.
    • Conduct inspections to assess roof conditions and provide recommendations for repairs or replacements.
    • Manage and coordinate roofing materials and tools on-site, ensuring the correct materials are available for each job.
    • Perform roof repairs on all types of roofs systems, including but not limited to shingle,tile, TPO, PVC, BUR, torch applied systems and roof coatings. 
    • Responsible for locating leaks, performing temporary repairs and designing/performing quality roof repair solutions. 
  3. Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure that all roofing work adheres to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
    • Monitor job sites for potential hazards and take corrective actions as necessary.
  4. Customer Service & Communication:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during roofing service projects.
    • Provide updates to clients and project managers about job progress, timelines, and any unforeseen issues.
    • Address client concerns or questions promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
  5. Project Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate records of daily job progress, materials used, and any issues encountered.
    • Assist with job estimates and ensure work is completed according to scope and budget.
    • Provide regular reports to the project manager on job status, safety, and productivity.
    • Compile scopes of work, materials list, and labor/equipment requirements for smaller repairs. 
  6. Quality Control:
    • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and client expectations.
    • Address any deficiencies or necessary adjustments before job completion.
    • Ensure that roofing systems are installed or repaired correctly to prevent future issues.
  7. Equipment and Tool Management:
    • Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.
    • Report any malfunctioning tools or equipment and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed.
Requirements

  

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in roofing, with at least 1 year in leadership or supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in various roofing systems (shingles, flat roofs, metal roofing, etc.), tools, and equipment used in the roofing trade.
  • Certifications: OSHA certification or other relevant safety certifications preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials, work in various weather conditions, and climb ladders or scaffolding.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead a team, solve problems on-site, and provide clear instructions.
  • Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required for driving to and from job sites.

  

Work Environment:

  • Work is typically performed outdoors, on residential, commercial, or industrial properties.
  • Must be comfortable working in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
  • The job may involve climbing, bending, and other physical activities related to roofing work.

PTO: Two (2) weeks annually accrued weekly after a 90-day probation period.

Benefits: You will be eligible for Health Insurance Benefits (medical, dental, vision and life) on the first day the first month after 60 days. The Company pays 75% of the Medical Premium for the Employee Only.
