Maven Communications, a 2025 winner of the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Best Places to work designation and recognized as one of the region’s 50 most community-minded companies by the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia and Points of Light Foundation, is looking for a seasoned digital media specialist to join our growing agency as an Senior Account Executive, digital strategy (SAE).
The SAE is a key client-facing role at Maven, responsible for supporting and executing integrated public relations and digital communication strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. The SAE serves as a day-to-day account contact, implements social media and digital programs, and drives campaign activities to successful completion. This role requires a strong understanding of content creation and digital engagement strategies, with proven experience in executing both paid and organic social and digital media campaigns. The SAE collaborates with senior account leads and internal teams to deliver measurable results, build strong client and media relationships, and ensure the seamless execution of client initiatives. Primary Responsibilities
Account & Client Management
· Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients, managing communications and ensuring client needs are met
· Support senior account leads in developing and implementing comprehensive PR campaigns and digital strategies.
· Participate in client meetings and calls; prepare agendas, track action items, and follow up on deliverables
· Manage tasks and deadlines for multiple client accounts simultaneously, ensuring high-quality and timely execution
· Develop and maintain client reports, status documents, and campaign trackers to ensure transparency and accuracy
· Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities to deliver value and support account growth
Content Creation & Social Media
· Write and edit blog posts, e-newsletters, and digital-first materials
· Support the development and execution of social media programs aligned with client goals
· Develop and advise on content calendars and social media strategies for a variety of accounts across industries
· Create compelling social media content through strong content creation skills (writing, graphic creation, quick-turn videos, multimedia content) on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and whatever comes next
· Monitor and analyze social media performance, preparing analytics reports and recommendations for optimization
Paid Media Strategy and Execution
· Develop and execute paid digital media strategies, and offer recommendations on paid media based on platform performance
Campaign Implementation & Reporting
· Execute planning, execution, optimization, and analysis of media campaigns across various social and programmatic platforms.
· Track and measure campaign results, track KPI targets, and prepare monthly and ad hoc reports for clients and internal stakeholders.
· Contribute creative insight and problem-solving to client programs, identifying new opportunities for engagement and impact.

· Proficiency with content management programs (Sprout Social, Hootsuite), Microsoft Suite (Canva, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs) and email programs such as MailChimp, Constant Contant
· Familiarity with Microsoft Suite and Google Suite
· Experience with Adobe InDesign a plus but not required.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in PR, communications, digital media, journalism, marketing, or related field
· 4-6 years of relevant agency experience, including internships
· Demonstrated experience in content creation, and paid media, digital and social media management
