Heartview Foundation is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join our team. This role is essential in providing compassionate, high-quality care to individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders across outpatient and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs. Pay Range:
LPN: $27 - $32/ hour, depending on experience
RN: $32 - $38/ hour, depending on experience
$5,000 sign-on bonus and student loan repayment programs!
This is a full-time, 30-40 hours per week position, Monday through Friday, with on-call as needed. Shifts typically fall between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM; a flexible schedule and hours are available.
On-call pay is $400/week.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and monitor for patient side effects and reactions
- Create, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the medical team
- Conduct and document urine, drug, and alcohol screenings
- Complete thorough nursing assessments and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Coordinate referrals and follow-up care with outside providers
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations for medication management and patient information
- Provide on-call and weekend nursing coverage as assigned

Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school or collegiate program.
- Current, unencumbered LPN or RN license in the State of North Dakota.
- At least one year of nursing experience (preferred).
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of substance use disorders and medication-assisted treatment.
- Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team setting.
- Effective therapeutic communication skills with patients and families.
- Proficiency in electronic health records documentation.
- Ability to educate and train staff and patients on relevant health topics
