  About the Role:
We’re seeking passionate and skilled Emergency Room RNs (Registered Nurses) to join our fast-paced Emergency Department team. In this role, you’ll provide and coordinate patient-centered care in the ER, working alongside physicians, EMS, and other healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department (ER),  assessing, planning, and implementing care for patients with urgent and critical conditions.
  • Triage patients using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) to  prioritize treatment.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately while following  hospital and Texas Board of Nursing policies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, EMS, and the healthcare team to stabilize and treat patients.
  • Educate patients and families on discharge instructions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Perform daily checks on monitors, crash carts, oxygen cylinders, and other essential equipment.
  • Use AIDET and SBAR for professional, clear communication with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Support hospital operations by stocking supplies, maintaining clean workspaces, and floating to other units as needed.
  • Commit to ongoing learning, training, and professional development.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • Communication, organizational, computer skills, team player, work independently and under quickly.

Education:

  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing. 1 -2 years of ED experience preferred. BSN preferred. Licensure/Certifications:
  • Current professional RN license issued and/or recognized by Board of Nurse examiners for the State of Texas. BLS and ACLS required. PALS or ENPC certification is required within 6 months of hire. TNCC is preferred.
