Our Mission: Knoxville Leadership Foundation (KLF) serves the Knoxville area by connecting communities of resource with communities of need, while reconciling people to Jesus Christ and to each other.
Purpose of Position: To support, empower and connect participants within the program and the larger community. The Case Manager will provide direct coordination of services to participants while also being a support and liaison to other professional partners. This position will primarily work with young adults and adults with justice involvement.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain an ongoing caseload of active program participants, acting as the primary point of contact between participant and KLF programs.
- Guide and conduct comprehensive intakes and assessments as well as develop a personalized case management plan for each participant accepted into the KnoxWorx programs.
- Process all inquiries and applications in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and electronic records for all program participants; assist leadership and grants teams with reporting as needed.
- Assist participants in building support networks with other peers, mentors, employers and family. Proactively work with participants to address personal and professional barriers to employment.
- Ability to navigate re-entry barriers to employment alongside participants transitioning from area detention centers into the Knoxville community.
- Work closely with clinical therapist to support participant’s work in trauma, addiction and mental health as it relates to case management plan goals and program outcomes.
- Coordinate trainings, community service projects, group outings and special events for program participants as needed.
- Assist, as needed, with presentations to promote KLF programs in the community.
- Track local and national trends and activities to determine if new initiatives and program enhancements are warranted.
- Perform other special projects as assigned to include community events for the purpose of case management and presentations for the purpose of recruitment; KLF fundraising events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Experience with case management role and individuals with current/past legal involvement. Strong time management, organization, administrative and interpersonal skills. Strong knowledge of community resources preferred.
*This position transports program participants. A driving record will be reviewed by our insurance company. Any violations need to be discussed during the interview process

Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
· Prolonged periods standing outside on active worksites
· Bending and twisting.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
