General Position Description

As a Field Marketing Manager in our small, dynamic team, your main responsibility is overseeing field marketing, focusing on events and marketing collateral to elevate Amur’s brand, accelerate pipeline and, drive qualified leads. You’ll handle or project manage end-to-end event operations (logistics, production, venue sourcing, budget tracking), run integrated campaigns, and lead sales enablement, audience acquisition, and lead capture for external events. 

Utilizing quantitative and qualitative insights, you’ll make data-informed recommendations to optimize ROI and KPIs. Essential skills include strategic planning, advisory, communication, attention to detail, and budget management. Collaboration with the broader marketing team and stakeholders is crucial to success. You have a can-do attitude, enjoy learning, and are comfortable working with colleagues and external organizations at all levels. 

You’ll work closely with sales, IT, designers, and other subject matter experts to align field marketing with broader company objectives, and for effective planning and execution. You’ll foster productive relationships with media outlets, external partners, vendors, and event organizers to expand reach and impact. 

Alongside strategic planning and events delivery, you’ll ensure collateral is clear, audience-focused, and on brand. This includes maintaining physical and digital materials, flyers, sell sheets, and partner or customer content are readily available and customized for sales use. You’ll also support the Director and team in writing, advertising, and related campaigns. Digital and design experience is a plus. 



Requirements

  

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Event Management 

• Create trade show annual and quarterly plans that fit the team budget and company business goals. Provide recommendations on new and continuing activities based on consultation with sales and other subject matter experts.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute on-site and virtual events, trade shows, and conferences. Ensure these activities support company and attendee goals, whether exhibiting, speaking, or attending.

• Create/manage/disseminate physical assets and attendee scheduling for booth, surround events or digital distribution as needed.

•  Find, plan, and manage event-related speaking and media opportunities, including content coordination.

• Help plan, design, order, and disseminate branded promotional items for events.

•    Monitor and report on event budgets, logistics, and post-event evaluations to optimize future strategies for brand awareness, lead generation, and relationship nurture. 


Marketing Collateral 

· Collaborate with the Director of Marketing, subject matter experts and designers, and copywriters to create compelling content that helps us achieve our goals.

• Help develop, maintain, and organize marketing materials, such as flyers, presentations, banners, and sales kits, working with the marketing team and graphics support experts as necessary.

• Ensure all collateral reflects the brand identity and messaging consistently.


Additional Responsibilities may include 

• Help write and edit engaging and compelling content that can be used in flyers, banners, presentations, case studies, and web content, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.

• Help plan, monitor, and manage advertising opportunities. 

• Help team content management and distribution via intranet, shared drives and other collaboration tools.


Data Analysis 

• Evaluate data and metrics to measure and report the impact of field marketing initiatives.

• Monitor media coverage and major competitive activities as required.

• Leverage insights for making data-driven decisions, enhancing future plans, and refining strategies.


Skills and Abilities

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks during a constantly fluctuating workload.

· Detailed knowledge of industries, equipment types, and Customer profiles financed by Amur.

· Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Word, Internet-based solutions, and information sources.

Education and Training Guidelines 

· Bachelor’s degree preferred

· 4+ years of experience in event planning and management

· Willingness to travel domestically <10% including occasional weekend travel


Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.


Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers/scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. May require training in new software systems or learning upgraded software programs.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

· This is a full-time exempt position and may require evening and weekend work as job duties demand. 


Travel

This position may require some travel including weekends.
